DESCRIPTION:Town Hall Theatre is celebrating legendary French New Wave filmmaker Agnès Varda\, who passed away in March\, with a showing of the charming 2017 film ‘Faces/ Places’.  In the film Varda teamed up with the acclaimed and young French photographer and muralist\, JR to co-direct this enchanting documentary/ road side film.  In the film they travel around villages in the French countryside in JR’s photo truck to meet locals\, learn their stories and produce monumental sized portraits of them.  The photos are displayed along houses\, barns\, storefronts\, trains in order to reveal the humanity of the subjects and of the filmmakers themselves. \nTickets are  $13\, or $8 for students\, book online or call the box office from noon-5pm\, or show up 1 hour before showtime to purchase your ticket.
