The Annual Vergennes Lions Club Charity Auction is Wednesday, August 1st with a preview starting at 5PM, and Auction starting at 6PM. The auction this year will be held at the St. Peters Parish hall at 85 S. Maple Street in Vergennes. The change in venue was due to building renovations at the high school. Come to the auction and see what we have. Many, many gift certificates from local vendors; furniture; antiques; local artist prints; dollar/white elephant table; and concession on site. Come and have some fun for the evening. As of Monday morning, the auction has almost $3,000 of donated gift cards alone. There is something for everyone.
If you have would like to make a donation of furniture in good condition, antiques, and other household items or tools for the Auction the Lions Club will be picking up select items Tuesday evening, For pickup please call Jim at 545-8181 (or) Kathy 373-4180. Please no electronics, appliances or clothes (or piano’s).
