Lions club auction and chicken barbecue in Middlebury, at the Middlebury downtown green, Wednesday July 20th from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Bring the family to the 63rd annual Lions Club auction and chicken barbecue. The chicken meal with coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, corn on the cob, dinner roll and ice cream is $12. Over 120 local vendors have donated goods and services for the auction. Auction items include: two tickets plus round trip transportation to the Red Sox versus Diamondbacks baseball game on August 13, a new Cannondale carbon fiber road racing bike and a utility trainer to haul firewood.
