Description? Since 2012, Manufacturing Day (http://www.mfgday.com/) has been a wonderful opportunity for the public to learn about business and manufacturing here in the United States. Here at Maple Landmark in Middlebury, we will be holding tours of our 28,000 sqft factory-store every hour, on the hour, with the first tour leaving at 9am and the last at 2pm. The 45-minute tour goes through where we cut, sand, finish, detail, assemble, and package our wooden products. We discuss our business practices and processes, how our production is so much more than an assembly line and how we innovate to keep ourselves ahead. This is completely free and open to the public.
