Weybridge Annual Poetry Contest

If you live in the Weybridge Area and you enjoy writing poetry, specifically Haiku, the town is inviting writers to share poems in the town’s annual poetry contest, in the form of Haiku’s.  This year’s topic is “Life In The Time of The Pandemic”.  The original deadline to enter was July 1st, but with the cancelling of the town picnic, the deadline is being extended to August 31st.

To enter, make sure your poem is in the standard 5-7-5 syllable Haiku format, and mail them to George, at 80 Meetinghouse Lane in Weybridge, who will direct the entries to the poet laureates for judging.  The contest is free to enter.  For more information, email George.Bellerose@gmavt.com.
