RANDOLPH, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont State Police have arrested a man on arson charges in Randolph.
They say 40-year-old Clair Sherman was seen entering the home on 10 Dudley Street in Randolph with a ‘flammable device’. Investigators say he was also seen lighting a fire in the home. Sherman was later found in his own home and arrested.
It is unclear why Sherman was lighting a fire in this home or who the home belonged to, but the case is still under investigation.
