BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Two Vermont establishments are finalists for the Oscars of the food industry.
The James Beard Foundation announced its 2024 finalists on Wednesday morning. Two of the four semifinalists WCAX News profiled are among them.
Cara Tobin at Honey Road is nominated for Best Chef: Northeast. It’s the first time she’s made it to the finals, after several semifinalist nods.
And Barr Hill Cocktail Bar in Montpelier is a finalist for Outstanding Bar. Barr Hill is the first Vermont bar to get to this point in the competition.
They will find out if they win on June 10.
