BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – A woman hit someone with her car after a fight at the HillTop Inn in Barre, Wednesday. That’s according to officers with the Berlin police department. They say they were called to the inn after getting a report that an intoxicated woman, 25-year-old Emilie Thompson, had left after assaulting someone. They say she then hit that person with her car.
Police say they found her at a home in Barre City, that she did show signs of impairment, and was driving with a suspended license.
Thompson was taken into custody and is now facing charges of DUI, assault, and reckless endangerment.
