BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – A chance to take flight over the weekend, no wings needed.
Saturday kicks off the annual two-day Harris Hill ski jumping competition in Brattleboro.
Harris Hill is the only Olympic-sized ski jump in New England and on Saturday, up to 40 of the world’s up-and-coming jumpers will take it for a ride.
The list of attendees is determined by the junior world championship held in Lake Placid.
There will be music, bonfires, food and drinks.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and skiers start jumping around noon. Tickets are between $15 and $25.
