LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (WCAX) – A Lake Placid hotel was evacuated due to a chimney fire.
Firefighters confirmed to WCAX that they responded to Whiteface Lodge on Route 86 in Lake Placid for a chimney fire.
The call came in just after 8 Wednesday night and was put out by 1 Thursday morning.
The lodge was evacuated and firefighters say no one was hurt.
