WILLISTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A small helicopter made an emergency landing on Monday in a Williston field.
Fire crews responded to a report of a helicopter down near Mountain View Road just before noon.
When rescue crews arrived, they found the small two-seat helicopter had landed safely in an open field. Nobody was injured and the helicopter was not damaged.
Fire officials said it was a BETA Technologies aircraft.
The pilot said mechanical issues forced the unplanned landing.
