GEORGIA, Vt. (WCAX) – Hints of autumn are starting to creep in, and the town of Georgia is kicking off the season with their annual fall fest.
This event celebrates the end of summer and gets Vermonters ready for autumn.
They have many fun activities for families — live music, local food and drinks from Georgia’s market right along their waterfront.
Georgia’s town clerk and administrator both did the dunk tank — and the night ends with a firework show after it gets dark.
“Autumn vibes, we’re back from all the summer fun, and we’re going to turn on the fall colors and be ready, and get ready for the long cold winter, but first we’ll get through fall,” Stacy Katon, the Georgia town administrator said.
