MIDDLESEX, Vt. (WCAX) – A Vermont State Police trooper is okay after he collided with a bear on the interstate.
It happened around 1 a.m. Thursday on I-89 north in Middlesex. Police say Trooper Jae Farnum-Boylan crashed into the bear, damaging the cruiser and causing the airbags to deploy.
He was not hurt. The condition of the bear was not immediately available.
