Pets with Potential: Meet Jack Daniels, Dawson, and Saddle

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential come from the Humane Society of Chittenden County in South Burlington.

Jack Daniels is described as a handsome house panther with a sensitive spirit. Staff say that while he processes the transition in his life, he’ll need some patience and a gentle friend. But with a calm environment, staff are confident his loving and sweet side will shine through again. He’ll do best in a home with no young children. His adoption fee has been waived, and he comes with a few perks, too.

Dawson is a 5-month-old pup with a big, wiggly spirit. He is still figuring out the world, but once he feels safe, staff say he melts into you and loves to soak in the love. He’ll need a patient and loving family to take him home. He has no known history with cats or kids but is dog-social.

Saddle is a one-year-old bunny who staff say is becoming more confident every day. With some yummy snacks and patience, she’ll be an affectionate companion. She is curious and loves to check out what you’re doing, even if she doesn’t enjoy being held. It’s unclear how she would do with other bunnies, but because she’s so calm, it’s likely they would get along with a proper introduction.
