COLEBROOK, N.H. (WCAX) – One man is dead after an apartment fire in Colebrook, New Hampshire.
The small town is right on the border of Vermont, across the Connecticut River and just south of Canaan.
The fire happened on Saturday at a complex on Parson Street.
Officials say 59-year-old Warren Hayes was found as firefighters were working to contain the flames and search for anyone still inside.
Hayes was taken to the hospital, where he died yesterday.
How he died and how the fire started is still under investigation.
