LAKE PLACID, N.Y. (WCAX) – Voters in New York passed a constitutional amendment involving hundreds of acres of land at Mount Van Hoevenberg in Lake Placid.
The amendment rectifies legal issues with upgrading the historic site’s parking lot, hiking trails and facilities.
It passed with 45% of the vote. Some 42% of people voted no and 12% left the ballot question blank.
