MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – Are you looking to add a furbaby to your home? Meet these Pets with Potential waiting at Homeward Bound of Addison County for their forever homes!
Tao is a 3-year-old hound-beagle mix who might look familiar to you. We’ve featured him before and he’s still waiting for the right family to come along. Tao gets along with everyone well, but especially loves people.
Shelter staffers say he’ll do best in a home where a family member is present at all times while he works on his separation-related behavior training. He loves being outside, taking long hikes and riding in the car.
Willow is a 2-year-old cat described by shelter staffers as affectionate and independent. She’s very food-motivated; she loves treats and will do just about anything for them.
Staff say she’s a quiet indoor companion who would appeal to anyone. She does not get along with other cats, so she should be the only pet at home.
Cola is a clever, charming and handsome rabbit. Staffers call him a busybody, saying average puzzles are merely child’s play for him, so he prefers dog puzzle toys. He’s fully litter box trained and has made friends with other pets.
He will do best in a peaceful home with plenty of space to explore. Shelter staff say he’s a living reminder that rabbits are so much more than people realize– intelligent, social and full of personality.
