ALBANY, N.Y. (WCAX) – A Plattsburgh woman faces federal charges for allegedly smuggling people across the border into Canada.
Authorities say in January, 42-year-old Stacey Taylor brought three Indian nationals into Canada from Churubusco, New York.
They say she was also stopped for suspected smuggling in August and September.
If convicted, she will spend at least five years behind bars.
