BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) – Some residents had to evacuate after a fire at a Brattleboro apartment building.
It happened just before 2pm Saturday at 107 Elliot St.
The fire started on the sixth floor.
Some residents waited outside the front of the building.
Crews from Chesterfield and Keene New Hampshire helped stop the fire from spreading, those on scene said they didn’t see smoke showing outside the building.
According to the Brattleboro Reformer, after speaking with Fire Chief Jay Symonds, they say about 18 people have been displaced.
