MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – This week’s Pets with Potential come from the Addison County Humane Society in Middlebury.
Cookie is a one-year-old lab/mastiff mix looking for a safe environment where she can be playful. The young dog has not had an easy time lately but is ready for a home with love and set routines. She is timid around other dogs, but has lived with a rabbit in her previous home. Her history with cats is unknown.
Lewis is a seven-year-old cat who can become talkative at mealtime. He enjoys calm energy and affection that he can control. Staff said they don’t know much about his past or how he became a stray. Because he is FIV-positive, an indoor-only lifestyle would be best for him, but Lewis can be adopted into a home with cats who are not FIV-positive.
Tinseltoes and Krampus are one-year-old bonded guinea pig siblings. Tinseltoes is described as a bright bundle of curiosity who likes watching the world around him. He is bonded with his brother Krampus and is helping him feel brave and confident.
