BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will hold a town meeting on Friday about the skyrocketing costs of health care in Vermont.
The senator will be joined by UVM Health CEO Dr. Stephen Leffler to discuss improvements to the state’s health care system and the effects of federal policies on health care premiums.
Audience members are encouraged to ask questions.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting kicks off at 7 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church at 152 Pearl Street in Burlington.
