BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Two people have died after a multi-car crash at the intersection of Roosevelt Highway and Coon Hill Road in Colchester on Friday night.
According to Colchester police, responding officers had to free passengers who were trapped in cars at the scene. They say three cars were involved. Both Colchester Fire and St. Michael’s College crew members assisted in the rescue.
There were five people involved in the scene, two of whom died at the hospital. The condition of the other three passengers is unknown.
Roosevelt Highway is still closed for now as police investigate.
