State awards $330K in grants for Vermont historic buildings

MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – More than $330,000 in new grants will help fix up several Vermont landmarks and historic buildings.

The money comes from the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation and the Vermont Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will go toward 19 towns and nonprofits across nine counties.

Several historic churches will benefit from the grants, as well as Middlebury’s library, the Merrill Octagon House in St. Johnsbury and Bean Hall in West Fairlee.
