BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The Burton Winter Jam took over Champlain College tonight.
Skiiers and riders competed for $10,000.
With more than 200 sign-ups, the event brought a crowd of hundreds to the quad.
A Killington Mountain crew drove north for the event and helped build a park in the middle of campus.
“We’re creating a community where skiers and riders are coming together, having some fun, and having some friendly competition. I think that is what this is all about, representing the ski and sports industry and bringing more of that to Burlington’s culture and creating a community for it,” said Leo Chrapla of Champlain College.
Looked like a great night with fresh snow for it.
