SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A car burst into flames off Shelburne Road in South Burlington Friday afternoon, sending a huge plume of black smoke into the air.
Witnesses said it happened in the area of Green Mountain Drive at about 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The front end of the car was engulfed in flames.
Fire officials said the blaze was likely due to a mechanical malfunction. No one was injured.
