Pets with Potential: Boone, Duke, Ginger and Clover

ORLEANS, Vt. (WCAX) – Got the winter blues? Maybe a new furry friend could help! Meet some of the pets waiting at the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Society in Orleans for their forever homes.

Boone is a 2-year-old male dog who shelter staffers say has nothing but love to give. They describe him as a goofy, big-hearted boy who’s learning and growing every day. He’s currently in training and making great progress. Staffers say he’s the right dog for you if you’re looking for a young pup with heart and humor.

Duke is an 8-year-old hound with a big heart and gentle soul. Staffers say he loves to walk and sniff around just as much as he loves cozy downtime. They say after a fun adventure, he loves to pick out a perfect toy to bring back to his bed. He’s described as a loyal, easygoing companion.

If a cat is more your speed, meet Ginger. She’s almost 2 years old. Staffers describe her as playful, loving and full of energy. They say she has a personality just as vibrant as her orange coat. She’s good with other cats and respectful children.

You could get lucky taking home Clover. She’s a 16-year-old kitty with a bright, happy spirit. Staffers say she loves lounging around and soaking up attention. She’s described as a gentle, affectionate and easygoing companion.

If you’re interested in adopting Boone, Duke, Ginger, Clover or any of the other pets waiting at the Pope Memorial Frontier Animal Society for their forever homes, head to their website for more information.
