BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Survivor 50 premiered this week, but there was also a big Survivor premiere on this day in history.
On February 28th, 2002, we met the contestants of the fourth season of the reality TV series. A season that featured Vermonter Kathy O’Brien.
She made a name for herself right away, delivering some unusual first aid to a fellow competitor suffering from a sea urchin sting.
Kathy turned to be a solid player, surviving to by the next to last person voted off the island and remains one of the all-time memorable survivor contestants.
