BRIDGEWATER, Vt. (WCAX) – A truck slid off the road and into the Ottaquechee River this morning.
The Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department posted photos of the incident to Facebook and said it happened just after 7:00 a.m. on Route 4.
They say this area was covered in black ice.
The driver, who was the only person in the car, got out of the vehicle before first responders arrived.
No injuries were reported.
