Ethnic & Cultural Diversity at Mount Independence

August 12, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

$5

This program, led by historian and site interpreter Paul Andriscin, looks at how a rag-tag force from six states (NJ, PA, NY, CT, MA, NH) and Vermont managed to maintain the Northern American Army during the Revolution, while facing lack of supplies, disease, starvation and weather conditions and having to overcome prejudices against their fellow soldiers. Why was there so much distrust and hatred between the troops? What forces divided them and what kept them together?

$5.00 adults
