BERLIN, Vt. (WCAX) – A central Vermont town ushers in new affordable housing.
Wednesday afternoon, Downstreet Housing and Community Development and Evernorth cut the ribbon on the Fox Run Apartments.
The three-story building boasts a mix of 30 affordable and market-rate units.
The company says it’s within walking distance to employers, schools, and other services.
The $15 million project is the first new affordable housing development in Berlin in over a decade.
