DERBY, Vt. (WCAX) – A Northeast Kingdom community will soon be without a food shelf.
The Holland Food Shelf located in Derby Line will close at the end of September.
The announcement was made in a social media post on Wednesday.
Officials cite a sharp increase in rent and the loss of federal SNAP dollars.
They add that they do have information available about other food shelves in Orleans County.
