The 50th Annual Addison County CROP Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday, October 5. Registration will open at 12:00 on the Middlebury Town Green, with walking group “team photos” at 12:30. The two-mile walk through town will begin at 1:00.
CROP Hunger Walk, a program of Church World Service (CWS), invites walkers and donors to raise money for global relief efforts and for local organizations working to address hunger and food insecurity.
One-quarter of the funds raised by the Addison County CROP Hunger Walk will also support these local organizations:
Friday Night Community Supper; Vergennes Community Food Shelf; HOPE; Have a Heart Food Shelf; John Graham Emergency Shelter
