MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont Governor Phil Scott on Friday appointed Karen Lueders of Lincoln to fill the vacant Addison-4 House seat, giving Addison County a new representative in the Statehouse.
The district includes Lincoln, Bristol, Starksboro, and Monkton.
The Democrat has served on a number of Addison County nonprofits, including Addison Housing Works, where she currently serves on the board.
She replaces Rep. Mari Cordes, D-Addison, who resigned earlier this year.
