An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until January 12, 2026
Middlebury Community Players is excited to announce auditions for the musical comedy sensation “Nunsense,” by Don Goggin, to be performed at Town Hall Theater April 24 through May 3, 2026. When 52 sisters are accidentally poisoned by the convent’s cook, the remaining five nuns of the Little Sisters of Hoboken put on a musical revue to raise money for the funerals of four still-unburied sisters, highlighting their “secret talents” from their pre-convent lives.
The production is being directed by Peter Kristoph, with music direction by Annette Franklin and choreography by Kendra Gratton, who’s also serving as assistant director. Dora Greven is stage managing and Kush Sharma is producing, mentored by Mary Longey.
Audition Details: Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 1:30 pm (registration 1:00-1:30 pm) and Monday, January 12 at 7:00 pm (registration 6:30-7:00 pm), in the Anderson Studio in the new wing of Town Hall Theater, 72-76 Merchants Row, Middlebury.
