NH authorities ID three officers injured in cross-border chase

CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) – New Hampshire authorities on Tuesday identified the three law enforcement officers injured while pursuing a Vermont woman last week.

The chase started on Route 115 in Jefferson, New Hampshire, on Friday afternoon. Police say Marisa Levesque, 42, of Groton, stole a truck, hit multiple police cruisers, and led police on a chase that crossed state borders. She was eventually stopped with spike strips in Barnet.

Authorities say that during the chase, she hit the cruiser of New Hampshire State Troopers Jeremy Brann and Trooper Andrew Eastman. She also hit a cruiser of Littleton Police Officer Timothy Monahan. all three were transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries.

Levesque pleaded not guilty in Caledonia County Court on Monday.

Court paperwork says Levesque will be extradited to New Hampshire, where she also faces multiple felony offenses, including 1st degree assault with a deadly weapon, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and disobeying a police officer.
