MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Franklin County has a new representative in the Vermont Statehouse.
Gov. Phil Scott on Friday announced his appointment of John “Jack” Brigham of St. Albans Town to fill the vacant seat in the House of Representatives.
Brigham is a lifelong dairy farmer and a member of the St. Albans Town Selectboard, where he lives.
Brigham replaces Casey Toof, who resigned last month.
Brigham was recommended by the local Republican Party.
