“Creating a Shelter Belt” gardening presentation in New Haven, at the New Haven Town Office, Thursday March 17th, starting at 7:00 pm. Meghan Giroux, owner of Vermont Edible Landscapes, will talk about “shelter belts,” plantings that control erosion, protect crops and livestock, control odor for manure pits, create edible hedges and more. Part of the New Haven Conservation Commission’s Armchair Naturalist Speaker Series. Free.
