Two day event–July 8 and 9. The 240th anniversary of the only Revolutionary War battle fought in what would become Vermont is honored at this living history weekend. Five hundred encamped reenactors portray the American, British, and German soldiers who fought here on July 7, 1777, as part of the war’s Northern Campaign. Tactical military demonstrations, guided camp and battlefield tours, camp life activities, history scavenger hunt, children’s activities, music, sutler’s row shopping, book authors, and illustrated talks.
