As we gear up for the events and celebrations of the 250th we thought it would be interesting and appropriate to look at Vermont’s 250th anniversary from the perspective of the Abenaki First Peoples. Chief Don Stevens, Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk – Abenaki Nation, will talk about the Abenaki culture and beliefs, what peoples were in our area, how the area was used, what settlements existed and what would they looked like.
