The Congregational Church of Middlebury invites the wider community to a special Advent Taizé service on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Unity Hall. As we soon enter the season of Advent and prepare our hearts for the coming of the Christ Child, this quiet, contemplative service offers a gentle way to slow down, breathe, and make space for hope.
This ecumenical gathering will feature meditative Taizé singing, scripture readings, prayers, silence, and candlelight —a peaceful way to mark the season of waiting and expectation. All are welcome.
Music Director Ronnie Romano will lead the singing. Those who would like to sing are invited to a 5:30 p.m. rehearsal (RSVP to ronnie@midducc.org) or may simply join the group at 7:00 p.m.
