The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at the Bristol Federated Church on Saturday, August 27, from 9 AM to 1 PM.
Platelet donors are especially needed now. You can donate fast by making an appointment by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, by visiting RedCrossBlood.org or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
All who donate through Aug. 31 will be automatically entered for a chance to win gas for a year, a $6,000 value. Donors in August will also receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice.
