Vermont Folklife Center will host an opening reception for Driving the Back Roads: In Search of Old-Time Vermonters, a retrospective of Ethan Hubbard’s work in Vermont.
Event will include complementary, locally sources food and drink, including beer, wine, craft cheeses, produce, and more. A Q&A session with the artist, Ethan Hubbard, will begin at 6:00pm.
From 1964 to 2010—Ethan Hubbard drove the back roads of Vermont in search of old-time Vermonters. His photographic portraits and audio recordings transport us to rural Vermont and to the moments he shared with the people he met.
