Does diabetes run in your family? Are you currently overweight or not getting enough exercise? Do you have high blood pressure or abnormal cholesterol? Answering yes to any of these questions puts you at higher risk for developing diabetes, but there is help and hope.
In a group learning and activity setting with a trained facilitator, you can decrease your risk, learn what it takes to lead a healthier life, and develop habits that can lead to lost weight and a more active lifestyle.
FREE YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program Workshop
Date: Thursdays, beginning March 16, 2017 (Every Thursday for 16 weeks, followed by 3 bi-monthly sessions, and then 5 monthly sessions, with the workshop ending in February 2018.)
