Working in conjunction with the Ilsley Public Library, the Vermont Humanities Council is hosting a virtual lecture on “Friends with Academic Benefits, and How College Friendship Networks Matter” on Wednesday, December 2nd. Dartmouth Professor Janice McCabe will discuss her book, “Connecting in College”, and examine the different types of friendship networks, views on friendships, and hot they help or hinder. The lecture starts at 7 PM, and it’s free and open to everyone.
