The New England Review is pleased to present Rob Hardy, April Ossmann, Jericho Parms, and Lizzie Apple, who will read from their new writing downtown at the Marquis Theater’s Southwest Cafe. These four writers come from as far as Northfield, Minnesota, and as near as the Middlebury College campus, and will read from their poetry and essays. The Café will be open at 5:45 for dinner, and Vermont Book Shop will provide copies of the authors’ books.
Jericho Parms is the author of the essay collection Lost Wax and Associate Director of the MFA in Writing program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. April Ossmann is author of the poetry collections Event Boundaries and Anxious Music, and lives in West Windsor, Vermont. Rob Hardy, the poet laureate of Northfield, MN, is the author of Domestication: Collected Poems 1996–2016 and Aeschylus, The Oresteia: An Adaptation. A senior at Middlebury College from Memphis, Tennessee, Lizzie Apple is an English and American Literatures major and contributor to the student magazine Frame.
