New Haven River Anglers Meeting

It’s the February meeting of the New Haven River Anglers Association, on Tuesday, February 13, at the Marquis Theatre in Middlebury.

• 6:00 pm – Social Time
• 7:00 pm – Short Business Meeting to discuss upcoming events
• 7:15 pm – Guest speaker Ben Wilcox will talk about  “Lessons learned from competition fishing.”

Ben is owner and head guide at Maple Country Anglers, based out of Essex, VT.  He has been on the USA Fly Fishing team since 2021 and will be competing at the National Championships in Cherokee, NC this February.  He has fly fished and competed all over North America, learning from some of the best anglers in the world.  He also writes a monthly fly fishing and hunting column in the Northwoods Sporting Journal.  So get off the couch ,come down and have a beer, hear what Ben has to say, and get this fishing season going.
