Join Pet Food Warehouse this Saturday for the 3rd Annual Wag it Forward: A Nonprofit Festival for Pets! Calling all cowboys, charros, ranchers, riders, rustlers and wranglers to come together and make this year’s festival for pets the biggest bonanza yet! Both Pet Food Warehouse stores will close the day of Wag it Forward in the name of fun and fundraising.
The gates for Wag it Forward will open to the public at 10 am. Interested in skipping those lines? Fear not, because you can pre-purchase WIF tickets and pick up your canine waiver at either Pet Food Warehouse location at your earliest convenience. Tickets are $5 minimum donation, although feel free to donate as much as you can. Kids 12-under and pets are free! All profits equally benefit the 12 participating non-profit animal welfare groups.
Kick off the day with the 9th Annual VetriScience Chase Away K9 Cancer 5K. Registration begins at 8 am and the race begins at 9 am. In addition, your pooch can cool down after the 5K with Dock Dogs pool jumping!
Be sure to get there early to participate in our Western themed costume contest that begins at High Noon. All are welcome to participate, with prizes going to Best Overall, Most Creative, and a Wild Card category.
