The Middlebury men’s hockey team (0-2) came up short against Williams at home on Sunday, falling 3-2. The Panthers head to Amherst on Friday for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop, while the Ephs (4-2) host Hamilton on the same night.

Middlebury had a great chance to score with 5:14 expired in the opening stanza. With Williams goaltender Cal Sandquist outside of the crease, Zach Shapiro fired a shot from the doorstep, but Henry Wil Muller was there to block the opportunity.
