Dahlai (pronounced Dolly) is one of the cats that has been with us the longest. She does not introduce herself to adopters and because of that she tends to get passed over. She is gently sweet and affectionate and she would do best in a low energy household. She has sat in the lap of many a volunteer given the chance and loves to chase wand toys. If you’re looking for a companion who is also independent, she’s your girl. Kids and dogs have scared her in the past, but if you have a calmer, cat savvy dog or kid, she would be willing to try.
The shelter is open for adoption visits Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00am to 3:30pm, though we will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after.
