Food Shelves here in Addison County are in desperate need of donations. Many officials at the various food pantries are reporting bare shelves. Although they have seen increases in fresh produce donations from local farms, they are in need of many of the regular staples like juice, tuna fish, canned vegetables, rice and baking supplies. All of the county’s food shelves are gratefully accepting donations of food or funds.
